Seventeen individuals have been indicted in an alleged "horse doping" scheme in which a horse, A One Rocket, was purportedly given a performance enhancing substance just prior to a race at the Aqueduct in December, 2003. The horse went on to win and the parties indicted were allegedly involved in a conspiracy to dope the horse and then encourage betting on that horse. For more on the story, click here.
