In the case of Koons v. Crane, the Virginia Court of Appeals, in a published opinion, ruled that the trial court did not err in imposing sanctions or awarding wife attorney’s fees where husband was was properly served with the rule to show cause and evidence was sufficient to find him in willful contempt.
